Delicious: Emily’s True Love was the first internal project at Gamehouse Studio for which I was lead designer. I was involved with every part of the game’s design, from story telling to level design.
What made this project even more interesting at the time was the fact that we had to redesign the game to work on Mobile Phones as well. Icons on screen where a bit small and were obscure by the player’s fingers. The PC-based shop didn’t work quite as well and had to be redesigned, just like the level select scene and the trophy scene.
At the time this game was released the PC market was dominant, but in hindsight it was a great to get the game on mobile devices as since then they became the dominant market by a long stretch.
